Thank you for visiting our site.  We are a Christian ministry with a desire to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, our soon coming Saviour, to the world.  “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach, except they be sent?  As it is written, ‘how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!’”   Romans 10:13-15

We deal mainly with Ellen G White audio books in both CD and MP3 formats.  These E G White audio books are offered for sale at minimum cost with the prayer that many people will find them useful in their walk with Jesus.

I am Gabrielle Shaw.  I am a Christian with a great desire to see my friend Jesus coming again to take us home with Him and put an end to the sin and suffering in this world.  My main purpose in life is to let as many people as I can know about the great love that Jesus has for them.  I do this in many different ways.

In 1998, at the age of 78, I was looking for a new outlet for my energies after the death of my husband, Leslie, whom I had supported throughout his life as a pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist church.  One Sabbath I heard a fellow church member bemoaning the deterioration of his sight and that he could no longer read his favourite book – The Desire of Ages by Ellen G White.  He said how much he wished that he could have it on audio tape.  This set me thinking.  I had never done any recording and had no knowledge how to set about it but thought I would give it a try.  So I went into a store and asked what I should do.  On advice, I bought a pack of six blank tapes and a low budget recorder and set to work.  The book took 24 tapes and a lot of time with much recording and re-recording.  Given this as a present, the elderly gentleman was absolutely overjoyed and, with encouragement from him and others in close family and church, I started out to do better recordings and more books.  Then the idea came to copy these recordings rather than do each one afresh and so ‘The Listening Ministry’ came into being.

Through the years, the work developed and grew with help from family and friends along the way.  I would like to acknowledge all the kindness and help I have received from people who are as committed as I am to the work of spreading the gospel of Christ and the message of a soon coming Saviour.  I could not have got anywhere without this help.  Most of all I am so thankful to God for His guiding hand, the way He has led me each step of the way and for the privilege of working for Him as long as life shall last.

At 86 years of age, I was beginning to think that my usefulness was over as I could see no way of advancing with the tapes – now going out of fashion – when an old friend came by with the willingness and ability to put the recordings onto audio CD.  This work has just been completed and now here is a website opening a whole new avenue of outreach to the world.  Praise to the Lord!
